TAHA empowers youth with resources to memorize the Qur’an and supports huffazh with services to continue their relationship with the Qur’an and give back to their communities.

“Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish.” Qur’an 35:29.

The American Huffazh Association (TAHA) is a non-profit organization which aims to provide assistance and networking opportunities to students and graduates of Qur’anic memorization in the United States. It offers financial assistance to students who wish to attend a Qur’anic memorization or hifzh program, as well as to huffazh who wish to pursue further Islamic education. It provides other services and networking opportunities for Huffazh and their communities such as a mentorship program, annual conferences, a tarawih service network, huffazh support groups, and other programs and services.

The financial assistance will be in the form of partial or full tuition coverage, and will be either a scholarship or a qard hasanah (interest-free loan), which the student can pay back when they are financially able to.

It enables experienced huffazh to help and inspire others and continue on the path of Da’wah and social activism they started when committing to memorizing the Qur’an.
